The scripture on this site is drawn from public-domain English translations — the King James Version (KJV), World English Bible (WEB), and American Standard Version (ASV). We take care to serve the text accurately from our source data, but we make no guarantee that every page is free of typographical or transcription errors, and translations themselves differ in wording. Any commentary, summary, or answer we add reflects our own reading and is not authoritative. Where the exact wording matters to you, check it against a printed Bible. If you spot a mistake, please tell us so we can correct it.
