About Bible Garden

Who runs it

Bible Garden is built and maintained by Pond Software, an independent software studio. It is a personal, non-denominational project rather than the work of a church, ministry, or academic body, and it is not affiliated with any Bible publisher. The site is run by a single operator who handles the code, the editorial pages, and every message sent through the contact page.

Why it exists

Most people arrive at scripture with a specific request: the full text of Psalm 23, the wording of the Ten Commandments, or every verse the Bible has about anxiety. Bible Garden exists to answer those requests quickly and cleanly — the passage first, readable and printable, with the explanation underneath for anyone who wants it. No login, no paywall, and no clutter between you and the verse.

The translations offered are all in the public domain, which is a deliberate choice: it keeps the text free to read, copy, and print without restriction.

How the pages are made

The scripture on every page is served from a single bundled dataset of the KJV, WEB, and ASV texts, so the verses shown in a study page always match the chapter they link to — the wording is never retyped or paraphrased. Where a page adds commentary, a summary, or a set of frequently asked questions, that material is written to explain the passage in ordinary language and to point back to the scripture itself, not to replace it.

Bible Garden is an informational reading site, not a source of professional advice. If you notice a typo, a broken link, or a verse that looks wrong, please let us know — corrections are welcome and read.
